A Lot on Her Mind #2 - SOLD

14x11 oil and collage on stretched canvas
SOLD

First I would like to say "hats off" to all those who paint in a non-representational abstract fashion and can pull it off effectively. It is tricky.
I used less paint in the upper part of this painting than I did with the first (yesterday's). The marks you see are from the paper, old water colors. I felt it worked, and if I went back into it, I would just be changing it.

I feel like such a Katie groupie. Your work is just so unusual and GOOD! You did an incredible job with the skin tones and I love the violet in the hair. Congrats.
Your comment on my blog made me laugh. The geese might take a little longer to draw than a smiley face.

I really enjoy how the title changes the initial perception of the piece. Also, your color pallet is so unique/beautiful.
