12x16 pastel
I have been working on larger paintings and experimenting with some things, not with much success I must say. I struggled with a painting for two days only to wipe it out at the end of the day yesterday. This is actually a painting I did last spring, but never posted it on my blog. I love the woods in the spring with all the subtle colors! This is one of my favorites.

Beautiful work Katie! Can understand why it is one of your favorites. I have always been interested in pastels but never really tried them.
I can sympathize with you on the larger pieces. I am trying some and they are a different bird.
