Katie, your work is unique. I love the way the warm orange hat stands out against all the other cool hues. Such interesting pieces...wish I could see them in person.

Hi Katie,

I'm enjoying this series; lots of interesting texture and color in addition to the compelling subject matter. I also want to comment on Sedona; I tried to e-mail you but for some reason it wouldn't go through. So here are my suggestions:

You will love Sedona. The natural setting is awesome. Do some hiking if you can; it's the best way to appreciate the red rocks. Also, if you have time, take a side trip to Jerome. It's an old mining town in the hills that has been repopulated by artists and old hippies. Pretty mtouristy, but so worth visiting. we also like Flagstaff. It's not far from Sedona; it's a college town with a charming downtown area and a couple great restaurants. The Tinderbox for dinner is one of our all time favorites (we make a meal from the small plates) and MartAnne's (weird name, I know) is very popular for Mexican breakfast. Both are on San Francisco Street downtown.

Have a great road trip!
