This little painting was a lot of work for me. At first I was going to do separate paintings of the figures, then I decided I liked the disconnection of the three figures. I actually like it a lot and plan to do a larger version, but may do separate paintings of the two girls anyway for practice.

My House

...and this is my new front door. Isn't she a beaut! I have been neglecting my paints and canvas (or boards) for a short spell. I drove from Fort Myers to Boston in two days - wouldn't recommend it. Grueling. Closed on my house 2 days later in Rockport Me. Cleaning it out. Scraping, scrubbing, painting. I plan to have my gallery in the barn ready to go by early summer, and eventually my studio in the barn as well. :)

I have been in Ft. Myers, but will be heading north to Rockport, ME to close on a new old house. Consequently, I have not been in my studio and have a limited supply of paint resources. This painting was done in 3 colors plus Titanium white - phalo blue, cad yellow and Indian red.
