I have two different monitors attached to my computer. and my paintings look different on each one. One seems to be more true to my painting than the other, so I'm going with that one.

It appears I have done these two girl figures separately anyway.

This little painting was a lot of work for me. At first I was going to do separate paintings of the figures, then I decided I liked the disconnection of the three figures. I actually like it a lot and plan to do a larger version, but may do separate paintings of the two girls anyway for practice.

I wanted this painting to be less calculated and to have more fun with it. I'm still using my limited palette, and instead of feeling limited by it, I am enjoying it.

My House

...and this is my new front door. Isn't she a beaut! I have been neglecting my paints and canvas (or boards) for a short spell. I drove from Fort Myers to Boston in two days - wouldn't recommend it. Grueling. Closed on my house 2 days later in Rockport Me. Cleaning it out. Scraping, scrubbing, painting. I plan to have my gallery in the barn ready to go by early summer, and eventually my studio in the barn as well. :)

Comment to comment: This broad probably was trouble. It is was a b&w mugshot. She had the most amazing features. Her hair was all wild like Medusa. I bet she was quite beautiful. I think she was wearing a maternity top.
