6x8 oil on board
This painting started off with a minimal amount of paper on the board. I wasn't sure how it was going to play out, but they pretty much got covered over in the end. The piece in the upper right was very textural and that is why I used it in the first place - more of an experimental piece. The other pieces did dictate the color and value of the background however.
