This little painting was a lot of work for me. At first I was going to do separate paintings of the figures, then I decided I liked the disconnection of the three figures. I actually like it a lot and plan to do a larger version, but may do separate paintings of the two girls anyway for practice.
A wonderful and poignant composition Katie. It touched me as mum did not drive and we had to walk everywhere, rain or shine. I'm so pleased I am the lucky person who will now look upon your artwork every day. Thank you, best regards Bibbi
